DAYS INN BY WYNDHAM HAMPTON NEAR COLISEUM CONVENTION CENTER, Hampton – Your ideal downtown stay

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was excellent, close to the beautiful center and restaurants within walking distance, but there were maintenance doors nearby that were a bit inconvenient. The service was generally good, with friendly staff, except for one lady who wore a breathing mask, which was a bit odd. The rooms had a stinky smell, likely due to the presence of roaches, and they highly smelled of smoke, which was unpleasant. The dining experience was a bit of a letdown, ending early on a Sunday and having a strange ambiance depending on which side of the hotel you were on.

While the stay was adequate for just one night, it felt like more than just patchwork was needed to improve the overall appeal. With similar pricing options available at Holiday Inn or Best Western, other choices might be more value for money.
